Master of Education
Mild/Moderate Special Education (online)
This degree is designed to enhance the teaching skills of K-12 mild/moderate Special Education teachers or teachers who have mild/moderate students within their non-special education classroom. Students may select either a K-6 or 7-12 emphasis.
It is a curricular and instructional methodologies based degree that includes a diagnostic testing course to administer testing and to apply results for individual and classroom instruction.
This program is aligned with the Council of Exceptional Children (CEC) content standards. It is also based on the 5 core propositions of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS).
